On Monday at 1907 hrs, Calvert dispatched Commercial Box 502 for the building fire located at 681 Keith Lane.
Engine 52, Squad 5, Tanker 5, Brush 5, Ambulance 58, Utility 5, Chief 5A (McAllister), Chief 5B (Miles), Safety Officer 5 (King) operated on the scene from Dunkirk for several hours.
Units arrived on the scene side Alpha of a two story commercial building with smoke showing. The Engine crew advanced an attack line into the front door and encountered fire conditions in Quadrant A of the building.
Crews found extension to the second floor and attic as a second alarm was requested along with three additional tankers. The Engine crews brought the fire under control in 20 minutes.
Units from Dunkirk, North Beach, Huntingtown, Prince Frederick, all worked togeather and did an outstanding job on this incident.
