Georgia Crews Respond to Fire

Single family brick home was fully involved with all occupants evacuated.

At 3:21 a.m. in Allenhurst, Ga., Liberty County 911 dispatched Walthourville and Hinesville Fire to 30 Jessica Drive for a reported structure fire via 911 and Brinks Security.

At 3:28 a.m., Liberty County Sheriff's Office was first on scene reporting house reporting heavy smoke and fire.

At 3:31 a.m., WFD arrived on scene reporting a single family brick home fully involved with all occupants evacuated. Crews pulled multiple hand lines and made a defensive attack.

Command requested Georgia power for disconnection and the Liberty County Fire Investigator J. Ashdown. At 6:50 a.m. command reported fire was out and crews moping up.

All units returned to service at 9:38 a.m. Upon further investigation fire had started in the garage area.
