New Jersey Firefighters Battle Restaurant Fire

On February 6, 2003, fire broke out in a two-story ordinary for a second time in a year and a half at the Surya restaurant.

On February 6, 2003, fire broke out in a two-story ordinary for a second time in a year and a half at the Surya restaurant on Rt46 in Rockaway Boro, New Jersey.

The fire started shortly after 10pm and quickly spread through out the structure.

The fire is being investigated by the Morris County Prosecutors office at this time. Mutual aid companies from Rockaway Twp. and Dennville worked at the scene.
