Fire Erupts at Massachusetts Cement Plant

One firefighter suffered heat exhaustion while working to contain a two-alarm fire a structure at a Massachussets cement plant on Aug. 31.

The fire was reported around 3:30 p.m. at the Fall River Ready Mix Concrete on Tripp Street.

Firefighters utilized aerial ladders to bring the fire under control in about an hour and were hampered by low water pressure in the area.
