100 Injured in NYC Train Derailment

FDNY reports that 103 people sustained non-life threatening injuries in the Brooklyn train incident.

Several people suffered minor injuries when a train derailed in Brooklyn Wednesday morning.

The incident happened when the Long Island Rail Road train came to it's last stop at the Atlantic Terminal Hub around 8:20 a.m., the New York Post reports.

A witness told television station WABC that the train crashed into the bumped at the end of Track 6.

A tweet from FDNY indicated that 76 people sustained non-life threatening injuries. 

FDNY used an all-hands assignment which brought about 50 firefighters to the scene.
