Houston crews rescued a suspected burglar trapped inside a pipe on a commercial building's roof over the weekend.

Firefighters spent around 45 minutes Saturday night in the city's Gulfton area after a passer-by called 9-1-1, KHOU-TV reports. The witness had been walking his dog when he heard someone yelling.

Authorities weren't sure how long the man had been stuck in the pipe. He was taken to the hospital for his injuries and then taken into custody by Houston police, KHOU added.
