Houston firefighters worked to rescue a woman after she fell 20 feet into a manhole.
Firefighters had to rescue a woman in the Kingwood area of Houston Saturday morning when she fell 20 feet into a manhole.
Houston firefighters were called when the woman accidently fell into the manhole after exiting her car and walking through thick grass, Houston Senior Captain David Page told KHOU-11 News.
Initial crews arrived and requested additional resources once they determined the event was a technical rescue.
Firefighters rigged up a rope system to an aerial ladder to gain access and remove the victim who sustained significant injuries.
