TN Firefighters Rescue Horses after Stall Collapse

Williamson County Rescue Squad crews, with help from Franklin firefighters, saved four horses that were trapped when the roof of a portable stall fell on them.

Tennessee firefighters rescued four horses that were trapped when the roof of their portable stalls collapsed early Thursday.

Williamson County Rescue Squad crews responded to the collapse shortly before 7 a.m., according to an online post by the department. Because of the nature of the incident, structural collapse equipment was provided by the Franklin Fire Department, which deployed a drone to get a 360-degree view of the scene.

Firefighters were able to free all four horses just before 11 a.m. One horse suffered minor injuries.
