A Chicago Water Department worker was freed after becoming stuck in a hole at a job site Tuesday afternoon.
Firefighters called for a vacuum truck to help free the woman whose leg was trapped by mud and other debris in a hole at 67th Street and East End Avenue on the city's South Side.
“It was pulling debris and mud right on top of her so while the firefighters were trying to actually dig around her foot it was continuously pushing the mud and water back on her and it was re-trapping her,” Chicago Fire District Chief Jamar Sullivan told CBS Chicago.
