North Carolina firefighters performed an unusual rescue Thursday after a woman's hand became pinned between her SUV and a shopping center light post.
Charlotte crews responded at about 8 p.m. to the Ballantyne Town Center concerning a call of a woman who was trapped between two heavy objects, Fully Involved Media reports. Once at the scene, they found the woman's hand had become trapped between the side of her SUV and a light pole in the center's parking lot.
Firefighters were able to extract her, and she was evaluated by paramedics. Fire officials weren't sure how she became trapped, Fully Involved Media added.
