A power line snapped while the firefighters were inside a burning mobile home searching for possible victims when they were shocked.

Both sustained minor injuries and were kept overnight at a local hospital for observation, Northwest Volunteer Fire Department Chief Wesley Cole told the newspaper.

A third firefighter was knocked down when a fire hose broke. He was treated for a back injury at a local hospital and was released.

Crews responded to the fire at approximately 6 p.m. at a company that supplies wooden pallets and the flames destroyed two buildings.

The site's location posed a challenge for firefighters as the nearest source of water was nearly a mile away.

The fire was brought under control within 90 minutes and Harris County fire marshals are investigating the cause.
