NY Fire Coordinator Struck, Killed

A NY fire coordinator was struck and killed this week at a tower work site.

John Scott, 71, coordinator of Tioga Bureau of Fire, was working on a tower when a vehicle backed up and struck him.

He was rushed to a hospital, and pronounced dead.

Scott had been in his position since 1999.

He was the former chief of Campville Fire Department, where he has served for 45 years.
