Stray Bullets Hit PA Station, Narrowly Miss Firefighters
Stray bullets struck Harrisburg Fire Station 2, damaged two vehicles and almost hit two firefighters during a shootout in broad daylight Saturday.
Police were dispatched to a shots fired call near Harrisburg Fire Station 2 and found multiple bullet casings, along with evidence the station was struck multiple times.
Police say that two firefighters were almost hit by bullets. Nine bullet holes were found by first responders outside the station and hit one of their trucks and a Dauphin County Hazmat Unit, ABC27 News reported.
Fire officials said a similar incident occurred last summer when firefighters were almost hit by someone shooting from a vehicle.
