Funeral Set for PA Fire Chief Who Died After EMS Response

Pleasant Volunteer Fire Chief Timothy Johnson collapsed after he returned from an EMS call.

Funeral services for Pleasant Fire Chief Timothy M. (TJ) Johnson will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Pleasant Township Social Hall.

Johnson, 56, collapsed at home Oct. 16 just after returning from an EMS call. He was transported to Warren General Hospital where he died, according to Donald Lewis Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 20 at Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home Inc., 304 East St. Warren, PA, and from 10-11 a.m. at the Pleasant Township Social Hall, 40 Fuller Ave., Warren, PA on Saturday, October 21.

Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. at the Social Hall, with the Rev. James Swanson, Chaplin of Pleasant VFD, and Pastor of Pleasant Community Church, officiating. Those wishing to place memorials may do so through Pleasant VFD, PO Box 804, Warren, PA, 16365.
