Four Canadian Wildland FFs Killed in Crash

The sub-contractors in British Columbia were headed home when their vehicle crossed the center line and hit a semi.

Four Canadian wildland firefighters were killed in a vehicle collision while returning home.

Their Ford F-350 pickup truck crossed the center line and hit a semi, according to CBC.

The semi caught fire, but the driver managed to escape. The firefighters were pronounced dead at the scene near Walhachin., B.C.

They were working as sub-contractors from various locations in the province, reports indicated.

Their identities have not been released.
