An Omaha firefighter is in critical condition after being shocked by a falling wire while battling a house fire.
The firefighter was one of several trying to extinguish heavy fire on a back deck, KETV reported.
While they were battling the blaze, officials say a power line fell onto a metal fence, which shocked a firefighter, who was transported to Bergan Mercy Hospital. Recovery is expected.
