A Los Angeles County firefighter was struck by a hit-and-run driver Sunday morning in Windsor Hills.
The California Highway Patrol told KABC that they are looking for the driver who hit the 59-year-old firefighter about 3:45 a.m. on Stocker Street near Palmero Boulevard.
Firefighters were responding to an incident where a hydrant had been sheared from the ground when the firefighter was hit and the driver fled, CBS News reported.
The condition of the firefighter was listed as stable after he was taken to the hospital.
Police said they do not have any information on the vehicle that struck the firefighter.
