FDNY Firefighter Hurt in Bronx Firehouse Blaze Leaves Hospital

A firefighter, trapped by flames in his firehouse, walked out of a burn center to applause from fellow FDNY colleagues Thursday.

Firefighter Laurie Galioto suffered facial burns when he and others were trapped in the second floor of their Bronx firehouse.

"I got the best care in the world here at Jacobi Hospital," Galioto told a CBS reporter. "And these, the best brotherhood ever..."
