Knife-Wielding Man Hampers Sacramento Firefighters at Building Fire

Sacramento firefighters couldn't access part of the building due to the armed man on the roof.

A fire at a Sacramento apartment complex was anything but routine.

That's because there was a man armed with a knife and a hammer was on the roof.

Firefighters couldn't access part of the structure to extinguish multiple fires the man is suspected of setting, CBS reported.

Hours after the incident started, the suspect was taken into custody.

The investigation is continuing.
