Chazy, N.Y., Fire Department has taken delivery of a Midwest Fire side-control tanker-pumper built on a Freightliner M2 106 chassis.

Chazy, N.Y., Fire Department has taken delivery of a Midwest Fire side-control tanker-pumper built on a Freightliner M2 106 chassis. The unit has a 3,000-gallon APR polypropylene tank, 1,000 GPM Darley LSP PTO pump, a 4-inch Storz Direct Tank Fill and one 5-inch Storz direct tank fill with tank level gauge, two side and one rear stainless steel Newton electric 10-inch square dump valves with 36-inch telescoping chutes, stainless steel “tip-down” portable tank carrier and 3,000-gallon portable tank, All-POLY Construction, “sweep out” style compartments, including ROM anodized aluminum roll up doors, door activated LED lighting, vents, and floor dry decking, NFPA compliant LED lighted folding steps and grab rails, six Whelen scene lights, full width and length hose bed, pre-connected hose crosslays, adjustable 3/4-inch polypropylene dividers and hose covers Kussmaul battery charger with auto eject. It also has an NFPA compliant Whelen LED warning light package and siren/ speaker, NFPA compliant LED DOT lighting NFPA compliant red and yellow Chevron striping, white reflective striping, complimenting gold leaf striping, and customer lettering.
