Chicago Fire Department put in service a new Type III ambulance built by Wheeled Coach on a Ford E450 chassis.

Chicago Fire Department put in service a new Type III ambulance built by Wheeled Coach on a Ford E450 chassis. It's powered by a Ford 6.8L V-10 305 horsepower gasoline engine and a 5-speed automatic transmission. The unit is equipped with Federal Signal LED emergency warning lights and a Wheeled Coach "Cool Bar" external air conditioner condenser system.
