Pleasure Ridge Park Fire Protection District, KY, has taken delivery of two KME rescue pumpers.

Pleasure Ridge Park Fire Protection District, KY, has taken delivery of two KME rescue pumpers. Built on a KME Severe Service XLFD chassis, they include 16-inch raised roofs, powered by Cummins ISX 12 500-hp engine and Allison 4000EVS transmission. They have Waterous CSU 1,500-gpm pumps, Waterous Advantus 3 foam system, and 500-gallon polypropylene tanks with 50-gallon foam tanks.  The apparatus have 27-inch front bumper extensions that include dual hydraulic reels and pre-connected rescue tools with a full width bumper covers.  The KME FLEX body is constructed of 3/16-inch aluminum, featuring full depth and full height compartments, roof compartments and Lock-N-Load hose bed cover.
