The Morrisville, VT, Fire Department has taken delivery of an 80-foot aerial built by HME Ahrens Fox.

The members of the Morrisville, VT, Fire Department have taken delivery of an 80-foot aerial built by HME Ahrens Fox. It's built on a 1871 custom cab and chassis, powered by a Cummins ISL 400 hp engine and an Allison 3000EVS transmission. To fight fire it has a Hale 1,500 Q-Max pump and a 400-gallon UPF tank. Other equipment includes a 270-Amp Leece Neville alternator, a cab roof-mounted dual Whelen Freedom 24-inch light bar system, and front left and right body 14,000 lumens quartz flood lighting. The stainless-steel body has adjustable shelving throughout, galvanized double rails, galvanized outriggers, and a galvanized torque box.
