The Tipton Fire Department has taken delivery of a Spencer Manufacturing Inc. pumper.

The Tipton Fire Department has taken delivery of a Spencer Manufacturing Inc. pumper that's built on a Spartan Metrostar LFD chassis.

The rig is powered by a 450-hp Cummins L9 engine. It has a six-person cab and SCBA seating for five. The cab has an EMS cabinet and an extended front bumper with a front suction and pre-connect discharge.

The fire suppression components include a 1,500-gpm Waterous CSU pump with a 1,000-gallon tank. The pump panel is top-mount with a TFT Extend-A-Gun & Monitor System.

The Spencer aluminum body features ROM roll-up doors, Slide-Master roll-out trays, and top-side coffin storage compartments.

The lighting package includes FRC scene lights, FRC pole lights and a Whelen warning light package.
