The Rawlins Fire Department has taken delivery of an SVI Trucks Type 3 wildland unit that's built on a Freightliner 4-door chassis.
The rig is powered by a 400-hp L9 Cummins engine and an Allison 3000 EVS transmission with pump and roll abilities.
Firefighting components include a 1,250-gpm Waterous CXS pump with a 750-gallon water tank and a FoamPro 2001 Class A and B foam system.
Additional features include, Hannay cab step booster reel, ground sweep bumper Snozzles, Ziamatic Ladder system, and a Command Light KL series light tower.
