Fire Safety & Services recently hosted Pierce's 2025 Road Rally, bringing Pierce's recent deliveries and innovations to nearly two dozen states. The tour has two stops in South Carolina before it wraps up.
"The Road Rally is designed to create community-driven events where local departments can experience, first-hand, the latest builds and technology through an array of recently delivered trucks/types," Fire & Safety Services Principal/President David Russell told Firehouse.com.
Among the demonstrator rigs on display were a single-axle 107-foot Enforcer HD Ladder, the redesigned Enforcer top-mount PUC pumper, a Freightliner/Pierce pumper, a 100-foot Enforcer/Ascendant aerial tower and a Saber 75-foot HD single-axle rear-mount ladder. The electric Pierce Enforcer Volterra pumper was also on display.
More than a dozen recent orders from New Jersey were on display, including:
- Elizabeth Fire Department - Pierce Arrow XT walk-in heavy-duty rescue
- Franklin Twp. Fire District #1/Elizabeth Ave. Fire Company - Pierce Arrow XT 100-foot rear-mount, heavy-duty aerial platform
- Howell Fire District #4/Ramtown Fire Company - A Pierce HV507 pumper on an International body
- Hunterdon County Public Safety - Frontline Communications/Pierce Saber C-40 mobile command unit
- Kinnelon Fire Company - 3,000-gallon Pierce/International HV607 tanker
- Princeton First Aid & Rescue Squad - Pierce Velocity walk-in heavy duty rescue

“It was incredible to see more than 180 members of the fire service community come together at Bell Works for our Central New Jersey Road Rally stop,” said David Russell, Principal and President, Fire & Safety Services. “The energy and engagement throughout the evening truly reflected the passion and pride of our region’s departments. Events like these give decision makers and crews the chance to climb in, test drive, and ask detailed questions about the latest apparatus and technology, all in an environment designed to build connections and share knowledge. We’re grateful to everyone who joined us in Holmdel and look forward to continuing these hands-on, community driven experiences across the state.”
Russell said the Road Rally allows fire departments to test drive apparatus, get hands-on experience and tutorials with aerials. He said departments get one-on-one time with Fire & Safety Services and Pierce staff, getting answers they need for their decision-making.
The last two stops are Aug. 4 in Wellford, SC, and Aug. 6 in Summerville, SC, both hosted by Spartan Fire & Emergency Apparatus, Inc.
