    The Paterson, NJ, Fire Department has placed their second Pierce Arrow XT model 95-foot mid-mount platform aerial into service assigned to Ladder Co. 1. Its cab has seating for eight occupants and is powered by a Detroit Diesel DD 13 engine and an Allison 4500EVS transmission. It is equipped with both conventional and roll-up doors, an Onan 10,000-watt generator and an Akron Streammaster monitor in the platform.
