Plymouth Township, PA, Volunteer Fire Company has taken delivery of a 2018 Pierce Enforcer 55-foot Sky Boom. It is built on a four-door, climate-controlled cab with a raised roof and full-height rear doors. It is powered by a Cummins L9 450-hp diesel engine and an Allison 3000EVS transmission. To fight fire, it has a hale QTWO150-21X two-stage pump and a 500-gallon UPF Poly Tank III. Other features include a Kussmaul auto-eject battery conditioner, ROM roll-up doors, a Fire Research Corp ACT aerial intercom, Akron Brass master stream ladder pipe, a Federal Signal Q2B mechanical siren and a Go-Pro front-facing camera.
