Salem Township, MI, Fire Department has taken delivery of a Wildland Urban Interface (WUI) built by HME Ahrens-Fox.

Salem Township, MI, Fire Department has taken delivery of a Wildland Urban Interface (WUI) built by HME Ahrens-Fox. It is built on a HME 1871-SFO four-wheel drive cab and chassis. It is powered by a Cummins B 6.7 liter engine and an Allison 3000EVS transmission. To fight fire, it has a Hale RSD 1,500-gpm rear-mount pump and a 700-gallon water tank.
