The Somers Point, NJ, Volunteer Fire Company #1, in Atlantic County, has taken delivery of a 2019 Ford F550 / Reading / CET brush truck. It is built on a Ford F550, four-door, five-occupant cab and chassis, powered by a 6.8L Ford gasoline engine and a five-speed automatic transmission. It has a 300-gpm CET pump, a 300-gallon polypropylene tank with a Hannay reel carrying 1-inch forestry hose. It's also equipped with Code 3 LED warning lights.
