Delivery: Palm Springs, CA, Type 3 Pumper

This is one of two Type 3 pumpers built by BME for the Palm Springs Fire Department, featuring a 1,000-gpm pump.

The Palm Springs, CA, Fire Department worked with BME to build two Type 3 pumpers, built to CALFire specs.

This rig is built on an International HV507 4-door chassis and the cab features Legacy Seats and a custom BME console.

Firefighting options includes a Darley JMP500, two-stage PTO-pump, powered by a Darley 1 1/2 AGE, 24-hp Kubota engine, a 500-gallon UPF tank with a 20-gallon foam tank for a FoamPro 1600 system.

It is oufitted with a Hannay hose reel and Whelen lights.
