Windber, PA, Fire Dept. has taken delivery of a 2017 4 Guys custom rescue pumper, built on a Spartan Metro Star cab and chassis. It is powered by a Cummins ISL9 450-hp engine and an Allison transmission. It's equipped with a Hale Qmax 2,000-gpm pump with a panel behind a roll-up door, and a 1,000-gallon polypropylene tank. Other features include a Harrison 10,000-watt hydraulic generator, a powered Aluminum diamond plate bed cover, a traffic advisor, 12-volt LED scene lights, a 3,000-watt AC Command Light tower, Whelen warning lights and two electric rewind. reels.
