Tipton County Fire Dept., Covington, TN, have taken delivery of a 2019 pumper/tanker built by Midwest Fire on a Freightliner M2-106 cab and chassis. It is powered by a Cummins engine and an Allison transmission. To fight fire, it has a 2,000-gallon polypropylene tank and body as well as a Hale RSD 1,250-gpm pto pump with side controls. Other features include a Newton 10-inch square dump valve with an 18-inch telescoping chute, a ZICO electric portable tank carrier with a 2,100-gallon portable tank. It also features a rear view safety camera, Whelen scene and warning lights, a Kussmaul air and battery conditioner, and a Federal Signal mechanical Q2B siren.
