Mom, Two Children Hurt in Fla. Apartment Fire

-- Oct. 31--Three people were injured early today in a serious apartment fire in Kissimmee. A mother and her two children were injured in the blaze on Pine Island Circle. Osceola County Fire Rescue Chief Danny McAvoy said fire was coming through the roof of the apartment building when when firefighters arrived just before 2 a.m. Firefighters evacuated all four of the units in the building. Two were seriously damaged by the blaze.

Firefighters evacuated all four of the units in the building. Two were seriously damaged by the blaze.

The woman was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center. Her children are receiving treatment at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, McAvoy said.
