Five Unaccounted for in MA House Fire

Fire and police officials are at the scene of an early morning house fire in Warwick where several people are unaccounted for Saturday.

The fire was reported around 12:45 a.m. on Richmond Road.

Two residents were able to escape the three-alarm fire, Department of Fire Services spokeswoman Jennifer Mieth told MassLive.com.

As of late Saturday morning, Meith said five remained unaccounted for.

Investigators from Warwick police and fire departments are working with state police and fire marshal officials to determine the cause of the fire.
