As part of its expanding platform, Emergent stated that its NEMSIS-ready electronic patient care solution will soon be available.

With this accomplishment, Emergent is adding EMS to its single-pane-of-glass strategy, enabling departments to handle fleet, inspections, incident response, and now patient care reporting all under one cohesive system.

“The fire and EMS industry has been forced to operate across too many disconnected systems for too long,” said Ryan Burchnell, CEO of Emergent. “With Emergent EMS, we’re continuing to deliver on our vision of a single, unified platform: one that brings patient care, incident response, and operational data together in a way that supports how departments work in the real world.”

A NEMSIS-capable electronic patient care reporting (ePCR) service is included in the initial release of Emergent EMS, allowing departments to start producing streamlined, compliant reporting before full certification is anticipated later this year.

By integrating patient care reporting into the same ecosystem that they already depend on for day-to-day operations, Emergent EMS expands the platform's value for current Emergent clients. Emergent EMS gives new clients the chance to embrace a cutting-edge, integrated solution right now without having to deal with the hassle of piecing together various systems.
