B42 carries a diverse list of equipment, serving multiple purposes. The squad is all-wheel-drive and outfitted with a skid-mounted CAFS system and 250 gals. of water, giving it "foam and roll" capabilities. In addition, it carries equipment for brush fires, medical assists, vehicle accidents, and SCBA, saws and other tools for support at structure fires.
