The Newcastle, OK, Fire Department has taken delivery of a 2017 E-ONE HUSH Series, rear-engine custom pumper.

The Newcastle, OK, Fire Department has taken delivery of a 2017 E-ONE HUSH Series, rear-engine custom pumper. The design makes for a quieter cab and a more open and spacious cab capable of seating eight crew members and space for gear and equipment. It is powered by a Cummins ISL 450-hp engine and an Allison 3000EVS transmission. It also has an E-ONE single-stage 1,500-gpm pump and a 750-gallon tank with an eMAX pump module with a double speedlay design. Other features includes a Federal Signal back-up camera system, and Whelen warning systems.
