A Firefighter’s Bill of Rights

Last weekend, as I was shuffling some things around on my dresser in the second floor hallway of my home, I came across a little something sentimental from the past. It was one of those parchment reproductions of the Bill of Rights of our great nation. You know, type you bought on your 8th Grade trip to Washington, DC.

I carefully removed the wrinkled, old paper from its protective envelope and began to review the thoughts of the people who created the tenets that served as the strong foundation for our nation. This brave document sets forth a number of the basic freedoms upon which our forefathers elected to found our nation.
