Watch: FDNY Firefighters Battle 4-Alarm Fire in Queens Building

FDNY firefighters battled the fire as it spread through the cockloft into multiple Queens businesses.

Six firefighters were injured as a four-alarm fire swept through multiple businesses in Queens Monday night.

Firefighters were called to Dry Harbor Road in Middle Village and found fire engulfing one shop.

According to ABC7.com, the fire spread into the cockloft and spread to six other stores.

As firefighters worked to control the fire, a third alarm was sounded.

A fourth alarm was requested to bring additional firefighters as they worked in unusually high heat.

Six firefighters were transported to two hospitals. Officials said their injuries were non life-threatening.
