Seattle Crews 'Rescue' Hanging Dummy

SEATTLE -- Seattle police and fire personnel raced to Second Avenue and Virginia Street in Belltown after receiving a report of a man dangling from a rope, about eight stories up. Scanner traffic said the man was believed to be a painter who was unresponsive. The dangling sign painter turned out to be a dummy that is part of an ad display for Lifewise Health Plan. The dummy is slumped over with a paint bucket next to it, as if an accident had occurred.
