Fatal Crash Shuts N.J. Turnpike
CHESTERFIELD, N.J. --A fatal accident involving three trucks has closed a 26-mile stretch of the New Jersey Turnpike's northbound lanes in southern New Jersey. State Police Sgt. Julian Castellanos says the crash involved a box truck, a dump truck and a tanker and occurred around 1 a.m. Friday in Chesterfield, south of Trenton. Turnpike Authority spokesman Joe Orlando says one person was killed and another was critically injured. No names have been released.
