Round 30 of 2008 AFG Awards Announced
On Friday, close to $270,000 in Assistance to Firefighter Grants (AFG) was awarded to five fire departments within the United States.
This was the thirtieth round of FY '08 grants awarded by the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
The goal of the AFG program is to meet the firefighting and emergency response needs of fire departments and non-affiliated emergency medical services organizations.
