A three-alarm fire Tuesday night destroyed much of an Opa-locka warehouse that housed a swimwear design company that had been in business since 1942.

Firefighters received the call at 6:09 p.m. and spent more than an hour battling the blaze at Ceeb of Miami, 2519 Ali Baba Ave.

Co-owners Bob and Jack Brasington said the business has been family-owned for three generations.

"There's a lot of memories in that building," Bob Brasington said. "It's tough."

Bob Brasington said he was inside when the fire started and managed to salvage a few computers but not much else.

Nearby tri-rail tracks were shut down for about three hours as a precaution.
