MONTREAL -- A dozen people were evacuates and one slightly injured after a fire that struck a mixed-use building on the Rue Saint-Hubert Thursday night.

The fire spread from a ground-level storefront a gradually engulfed the upper floors.

Adjacent properties were also affected by the fire, which reduced the building where it started to ruin.

More than 110 firefighters were onhand to combat the blaze, whose origin they say is suspicious.
