An Apartment Believed to be Firebombed in Queens

One man was burned in an apparent attempted firebombing of his home in the Flushing section of Queens.

(Flushing-WABC, September 15, 2005) - One man was burned in an apparent attempted firebombing of his home in the Flushing section of Queens.

Eyewitness News has learned, the man was burned on the hands and face during the attack at 42-36 159th Street just after one o'clock this morning. He was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition.

Authorities retrieved gasoline from the scene and believe it was used to light materials tossed inside the home.

No arrests were immediately made. There was no motive for the attack.
