JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --
A 4-acre brush fire fueled by unruly winds was under control, Jacksonville firefighters announced at about 11 p.m. Wednesday.
The flames threatened some homes as it burned off Trout River Boulevard near Moncrief Dinsmore and Old Kings roads.
Some sheds were burned, but serious damage was not done to any homes, officials said.
