Authorities tell 24 Hour News 8 a 90-year-old man drove into the village of Douglas around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday to go to the post office. He could not drive in the downtown area because crews are working on the road. So he tried to park his vehicle next to a building located at 32 Center Street and walk to the post office.
