Pennsylvania Firefighters Rescue Boy, Parents From Burning Home

The mother was bed-ridden with multiple sclerosis.

Firefighters took part in a dramatic rescue in Delaware County early Thursday morning.

Just after midnight, crews were called to a burning home in Collingdale.

Inside, they found an 11-year-old boy, along with his mom and dad.

Firefighters rescued all three.

The mother was bed-ridden with multiple sclerosis.

The mom and dad are hospitalized; the boy is OK.

One firefighter suffered was hurt by broken-glass and smoke inhalation.

The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
