Fire Scorches Houston Paper Recycling Facility

Officials said one was injured and that no chemicals were inside the building.

Authorities are trying to determine what sparked a fire inside a paper recycling plant east of downtown Houston Thursday morning, KPRC Local 2 reported.

Firefighters put out the flames at the AACO Waste Paper facility on Jensen Drive at Cline Street shortly before 7 a.m. after the fire burned for nearly an hour.

Houston Fire Department Chief Jack Williams said no one was injured and that no chemicals were inside the building.
